The Bordeaux region has many treasures that can be discovered on a cruise on the Garonne, Gironde and Dordogne rivers. Its unique climate has shaped the landscape which contains numerous renowned vineyards producing world class vintages such as Saint-Emilion and Château Lafitte Rothchild. A river cruise from Bordeaux will take you on a journey exploring the unique cuisine and wines of the region.
We have 2 different ships cruising from Bordeaux: MS Cyrano de Bergerac and MS Princess d'Aquitaine. Depending on your schedule, you can choose shorter or longer cruises (4, 5 or 8 days).

BORDEAUX - PAUILLAC - BLAYE - LIBOURNE - Saint-Emilion - BORDEAUX
DAY 1: BORDEAUX
Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabin, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Tonight, join us on an excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Bordeaux "by night" (reservation in advance is essential; please contact your travel agency).
DAY 2: BORDEAUX - PAUILLAC - The Médoc
We will cruise down towards Pauillac. This morning, join us on an excursion for both packages: Helicopter ride(2) - fly over the gorgeous Médoc! Experience a bird's eye view of the numerous châteaux and famous vineyards that give the region its reputation. It's a once in a lifetime experience!
In the afternoon, join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Following the trail of the Grands Crus wines of Médoc, a renowned region where the most famous of all red wines in the world are cultivated.
DISCOVERY: Visit the Médoc through biking, wine and cheese. Get ready to discover the vineyards and châteaux of the region in this exceptionally beautiful area. You'll be rewarded for the effort with a lovely glass of grand cru and some regional cheeses.
We'll return on board for dinner and an evening of entertainment.
DAY 3: PAUILLAC - Gironde Estuary - BLAYE
We’ll start sailing early this morning towards Blaye, whose Citadel built by Vauban is not to be missed. Join us on the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: The Route de la Corniche Fleurie and the Blaye Citadel, journey through tradition and authenticity.
DISCOVERY: Tour Blaye and its underground monuments on foot. After our tour, we'll get to taste some regional products with an excellent glass of wine.
We'll return on board and cruise on the Gironde all the way to the estuary. Enjoy an evening of dancing.
DAY 4: LIBOURNE - Saint-Emilion
We'll cruise to Libourne, a town rich with history and full of character located at the confluence with the Isle and the Dordogne Rivers. Upon arrival, join us for an excursion for both packages: tour of Saint-Emilion. We’ll return on board in Libourne. Tonight is our festive gala evening and dinner.
DAY 5: LIBOURNE - BORDEAUX
We'll cruise to Bordeaux this morning. Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 11:00 a.m. End of our services.
NB: For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. The cruise schedule may vary according to tides and arrival times at ports of call may be subject to change. Depending on the tide, the stopover in Pauillac may be replaced by Cussac-Fort-Médoc and Libourne by Bourg. This excursion must be booked in advance through your travel agency. Subject to availability and favorable weather conditions.
